Ingredients

  • Pork ribs
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Broccoli

Pork marinade:

  • Soy sauce 16oz
  • McCormick garlic, onion, and ginger powder 2 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder 2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper 2 teaspoon

INSTRUCTIONS

Prepare the Pork Ribs

Begin by washing the pork ribs under cold water. Pat them dry with paper towels, then make a light cut between each rib to ensure the marinade penetrates every bite. This simple prep sets the stage for a flavor explosion!

Prepare the Marinade

In a measuring cup, blend together the rich soy sauce, aromatic garlic, zesty onion, fragrant ginger powder, earthy cumin, and freshly cracked black pepper. This combination creates a marinade that’s both savory and complex, perfect for enhancing the natural flavor of the pork.

Marinate the Pork Ribs

Transfer the cleaned ribs into a SEASON•SEAL container. Pour the freshly mixed marinade over the ribs, making sure they’re completely submerged. Then, close the lid.

Choose the Marination Method

Quick Marination (about 30 minutes): Select the Season mode (Vacuum cycling) on your SEASON•SEAL. Set the air valve to open mode and let the vacuum cycle for about 30 minutes. This method speeds up the marination process, allowing you to dive straight into cooking, in less time.

Long Marination: For deeper flavor, switch the air valve to Sealed mode for vacuum sealing. Store the container in the refrigerator until you’re ready to cook. The ribs will absorb the marinade over time, resulting in a more robust flavor.

Preheat the Oven

While your ribs are marinating, preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F). This low and slow temperature is ideal for making your ribs tender and succulent.

Prepare the Vegetables

Slice the cherry tomatoes in half, revealing their juicy interior. Wash the broccoli and cut it into bite-sized florets. These colorful veggies will roast alongside your ribs, soaking up delicious flavors.

Get Ready for Roasting

Release the vacuum from the SEASON•SEAL and open the container lid. Remove the ribs and pour out the marinade. Slather the ribs with a generous amount of hot sauce for an extra kick. Return the ribs to the SEASON•SEAL along with the cherry tomatoes and broccoli. Season the veggies with a sprinkle of salt and pepper for added taste.

Roasting

Place the SEASON•SEAL container into the preheated oven. Roast at 150°C (300°F) for about 2 hours. The slow roasting will ensure the ribs are tender and the veggies are perfectly caramelized.

Finish

Carefully remove the SEASON•SEAL container from the oven. Set it on the table and prepare for a feast. Enjoy the delicious aroma of your BBQ pork ribs and roasted vegetables.
